Privacy Policy
Allsaid is built so that what is said in the room stays on your phone. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
Allsaid is published by Eighteen Diamonds Inc., the seller shown on the App Store and Google Play. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
What stays on your phone
- Recordings. Audio is recorded and stored on your phone.
- Transcripts. On iPhone, speech is turned into text with Apple's on-device speech recognition. On Android, it is done by a speech model that runs on the phone.
- Summaries, dates and to-dos. These are written by an AI model that runs on your phone.
- Voices. To tell speakers apart, the app makes a voiceprint for each phrase on your phone. If you name a voice, or record your own, that voiceprint is saved on your phone so the person can be recognized next time. You can delete saved voices at any time in Settings.
We do not run servers that receive your recordings, transcripts, summaries or voiceprints, and we cannot see them.
When the app uses the internet
- Downloading AI models. The first time a feature needs a model, the app downloads it once from Hugging Face or GitHub. Like any download, this shows your IP address to that service. No recording or text is sent.
- Purchases. Allsaid Pro is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details.
- Bring your own key (optional, Pro). If you turn this on and enter your own key for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or OpenRouter, the transcript of a recording is sent to the provider you chose to write the summary. That provider's own privacy policy applies. Your key is stored in your phone's secure storage (iPhone Keychain or Android Keystore) and is only sent to that provider. This is off unless you turn it on.
Calendar and Reminders
Allsaid only adds a meeting, deadline or task to your calendar, Reminders or to-do list when you tap Add. It does not read or upload your existing events.
Saving and sharing
When you save or share a recording, PDF or transcript, it goes where you choose, for example the Files app, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Notes. Those services' own terms apply to what you store there.
Permissions
- Microphone: to record.
- Speech recognition (iPhone): to make the transcript on your phone.
- Calendar and Reminders: only to add items you accept.
- Notifications (Android): to show that a recording is running.
What we do not do
- No accounts, no sign-up.
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- No analytics or tracking tools in the app.
- We do not sell or share your information.
Deleting your data
Delete a recording in the app to remove its audio, transcript, summary and PDF from your phone. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, apart from files you saved elsewhere yourself.
Recording other people
Laws on recording conversations differ by country. Let people know when you record them, and ask for their consent where the law requires it.
Children
Allsaid is not directed at children under 13.
Your rights
Because your recordings and the information made from them stay on your phone, you control them directly. If you live in the European Union or elsewhere with data protection rights, you can contact us with any question or request at [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
